Nokia yesterday announced two senior appointments, including the new head of the company's mobile phones unit, which has been striving to regain its reputation for innovation.
Kai Öistämö has been appointed to lead the mobile phones unit - which generates about 60 per cent of the Finnish telecoms maker's revenues - effective from October 1. The unit was previously led by Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, who was last month named chief executive-designate.
