BoE says uncertainty clouding rate outlook

The Bank of England’s monetary policy committee voted unanimously to keep interest rates at 4.5 per cent in November, minutes from its latest meeting showed on Wednesday.

Members of the interest rate-setting body decided not to change rates after noting that the risks surrounding the prospects for growth were evenly balanced and there was “more uncertainty than usual about the near-term profile for inflation.”
