Synchronica, a provider of mobile e-mail software to telecommunications providers, is to buy the operating business of rival AxisMobile.

Synchronica will acquire AxisMobile's technology, which is more suitable for low-end mobile phones than its own, and with it relationships with eight mobile operators, in Russia, the CIS and eastern Europe.
