Ethos bullish about Nestlé changes

The Swiss institutional shareholders' group leading the challenge to Nestlé at Thursday's annual meeting believes it will achieve many of its aims in the longer term, even if the meeting, as expected, fails to adopt its proposals.

Dominique Biedermann, director of Ethos, which represents several Swiss pensions funds challenging corporate governance rules at the world's biggest foods group, said he was confident Nestlé would amend its practices relatively soon.
