Obasanjo meets Bush as Taylor held in Freetown

Charles Taylor, Liberia's former president and war crimes suspect, was in custody last night in Sierra Leone, after being arrested earlier on the Nigerian border with Cameroon.

Mr Taylor was being held in a United Nations-backed court in Freetown, which had indicted him in 2003 for war crimes, after being flown there via Liberia.
