Closure of GM plant brings chill to Ontario

Two years ago 12,600 people earned a living at General Motors' assembly plant in Oshawa, a 45-minute drive east of Toronto.

The number is now down to 10,000 and could dwindle by another 2,000 or more as the carmaker closes the plant's light truck assembly line in coming months.
