Goldshield, the generic drugmaker, and the Serious Fraud Office, have been allowed to intervene in the appeal against extradition to the US being pursued next week by Ian Norris, former Morgan Crucible chief executive.

Goldshield is one of the defendants in a large fraud prosecution being pursued by the SFO against a number of drug companies and executives over medicines sold to the National Health Service.
