F1 duo confirm £20m QPR deal

Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, the Formula One chiefs, confirmed over the weekend their agreed offer for Queens Park Rangers, the debt-saddled Championship football club.

The £20m deal came after months of speculation that Mr Ecclestone, the billionaire Formula One rights holder, was eyeing a takeover of Arsenal, the Premiership club.
