Jaeger Le-Coultre Master Compressor Extreme Lab
Imagine a car that never required servicing and was powered by an engine that ran faultlessly without the need for oil: Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Compressor Extreme Lab is that car’s horological equivalent.
The first prototypes were unveiled in April and represent a giant leap forward in watchmaking technology. By creating a movement made from a revolutionary combination of high-tech materials, Jaeger-LeCoultre has developed a timepiece that works perfectly without the greases and lubricants that, while being essential to a normal mechanical watch, eventually work against it as they deteriorate and affect accuracy.
