Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, has emerged strengthened at home and abroad following last week’s exposure of a secret Iranian nuclear plant.

Mr Netanyahu has long sounded alarm bells over his claim that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, and Friday’s revelation bolstered his call for the West to take tougher action on the Iranian nuclear programme.
