A hedge fund due to launch in London this week will offer investors an unusual resource – the thoughts and insights of the 250,000 members of the internet panel of YouGov, a market research company.

All the trades of the YouGov Alpha fund, a joint venture with Numis, a broker, and Four Capital Partners, will be based on ideas generated by YouGov’s research.
