Graft scandal group escapes blacklist

A construction company implicated in the biggest US corporate graft scandal is still enjoying British government support despite London’s promises to crack down on corruption.

The Export Credits Guarantee Department, which gave $212m (£150bn) of insurance cover for MW Kellogg’s work on one of Africa’s biggest infrastructure projects, refuses to blacklist the company even though US court documents suggest it was involved in arranging bribes.
