Babcock in deal to train engineers

Babcock International, the support services group, has signed a multi-billion-pound contract to train Britain's military engineers over the next 30 years.

The company, together with partner Carillion, will take over the provision of training, training support and infrastructure of the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME), which traces its history back to the time of the Napoleonic wars.
