Annan urges action over tribunal into Kenya violence

Kofi Annan, the peace broker in Kenya last year, is ready to hand over to the International Criminal Court a sealed list of Kenyans suspected of organising post-election bloodshed if parliament fails to approve quickly a special tribunal to prosecute them.

The list was compiled in September by an independent commission set up to investigate last year's post-election violence that left more than 1,200 people dead.
