Insolvency figures reveal gender gap

A debt divide between the sexes has emerged with research showing women are experiencing more acute financial strain than men.

One in three women who have racked up debts of more than £10,000 are struggling to make repayments - and are more likely to consider insolvency than their male counterparts.
