Film industry reeling from tax regime

The new film tax regime has hit British co-productions, according to research.

A report by Oxford Economics warns that the tax credit system threatens to make the industry parochial and undermine its ability to sell internationally. Its research found that the tax arrangements introduced in early 2007 have made it unattractive to use UK talent and crews to produce films outside the country.
