Investors in Pakistan have shown a remarkable resilience to the country's worst humanitarian tragedy.

The earthquake that rocked the country on October 8 devastated large parts of the mountainous northern region as well as the portion of Kashmir controlled by Pakistan. The death toll so far is 55,000. Independent analysts said the final death count could be twice as high. Many more people have been injured while an estimated 200,000 homes have been destroyed.
