Dollar hits 20-month low against euro

The dollar dropped to fresh 20-month depths against the euro on Monday but recovered as a thin economic calendar gave investors no excuse to heap further pressure on the US currency.

The greenback dropped to $1.3370 against the euro in early trade, continuing the slide triggered by weak US manufacturing data on Friday.
