Buoyant Tui shrugs off economic downturn

Tui, the tour operator, has shrugged off fears over the economic downturn, reporting a strong rise in underlying profits and robust revenue growth.

“Our customers are not prepared to forgo their main summer holiday,” Peter Long, chief executive, said on Thursday.
