Bupa buys US specialist care group

Bupa has bought up its first US healthcare company, a move that firmly establishes it as a global health concern while underlining its commitment to winning commissioning contracts from the National Health Service.

The provident association has paid £310m($640m) for Health Dialog, the third largest and one of the fastest growing specialist chronic disease management companies in the US.
