Brazil pledges funds for gas pipeline in Argentina

The Brazilian government on Fridway will formally agree to co-finance a $320m expansion of a gas pipeline in Argentina that is to help alleviate an energy crisis.

The funds are part of $2bn (€1.52bn, £1.1bn) investment that Brazil is making in regional infrastructure projects and marks renewed momentum in South American political cohesion.
