Yemen on Thursday faced allegations that more than 80 people, mainly women, children and the elderly, were killed in airstrikes as the government continues a month-long offensive against Shia rebels in northern parts of the country.
Citing witness reports, Human Rights Watch said the attack took place on Wednesday in the northern Amran governorate when military aircraft bombed a group of displaced people in an open area near a school, killing at least 87 people.
