Effort to track down cash in obscure places

Internal transfers, credit limits, daylight overdraft facilities, “sweep accounts”. These banking and finance processes may seem arcane but they are the bread and butter of any corporate treasurer.

As businesses get to grips with a world of more expensive credit and unpredictable or falling sales, the need not only to generate but also locate cash within a company’s business by maximising such processes has become a top priority.
