Western focus helps Capcom outplay Namco Bandai

Zombies beat giant humanoid robots as a business strategy – or at least that is the implication of results released by two of Japan’s videogame companies.

Capcom, for which the undead feature in titles such as Resident Evil 5, reported a rise of 11.4 per cent in operating profit to Y14.6bn ($167m), in large part because of the popularity of its titles overseas.
