Dubai Ports row breeds bad feeling among Arab businesses

Opposition in the US to Dubai Ports World’s agreed acquisition of US container terminals is breeding bad feeling in one section of Arab public opinion usually more favourable to the US.

Among top Arab businessmen, many of whom are US-educated, there is a strong sense that the backlash among Congressmen and Senators against the deal has been fuelled more by racism than by security concerns.
