Disney banks on Winnie formula

The Walt Disney Company, owner of the Winnie the Pooh brand, has begun licensing fresh fruit in European supermarkets as it tries to find new ways of introducing its brands to children.

Andy Mooney, chairman of Disney Consumer Products, said: "We are trying to develop 'better for you' [food] ranges for kids."
