Siemens’ earnings beat expectations

Siemens reported stronger third-quarter earnings than expected on Wednesday and said it aimed to expand revenues twice as rapidly as global economic growth in the next fiscal year.

Europe’s biggest engineering group said it increased profit of its three sectors year-on-year by 33 per cent to €2.08bn, more than analysts had forecast.
