Business support for London's 2012 Olympic bid has dropped significantly in the past two years, according to a poll in which fewer than half of respondents said their companies would benefit.

The survey of 357 companies by the London Chamber of Commerce found 68 per cent of businesses in the capital backed the bid compared with 81 per cent two years ago.
