Culture secretary flexes muscles

If the BBC’s management thought that the appointment of one of its former journalists as culture secretary would guarantee favourable treatment, it has been rapidly disabused.

Ben Bradshaw, former Berlin correspondent, displays little partiality when he describes the BBC’s leadership as misguided in its attitude to Digital Britain, the white paper published just days after he was promoted to the cabinet last month.
