Changing faces: Trolltech appoints head of marketing

Daniel Kihlberg Palleja has moved to Trolltech, the Norwegian open-source company being bought by Nokia, to work as vice-president of worldwide marketing.
Before Trolltech, he was a senior director at Jabra and GN Netcom; and at Siemens Communications Devices, he led product marketing on MP3 smart-phones.
He has also worked at Ericsson, where he was responsible for two-way pagers and Bluetooth devices.

• Vettro, the mobile applications company based in New York, has appointed two senior vice-presidents.
George Moser will lead worldwide field operations. He has 20 years experience in management and start-ups. Prior to joining Vettro, he served as VP of North American sales for SPSS, which makes predictive-analytics software.
Tom Erdman will oversee worldwide marketing. He joins Vettro from AT&T, where he served as VP of corporate markets.
Over the past 20 years, Mr Erdman has held sales and marketing positions at companies including MCI and British Telecom.
