Johnston lifted by online announcements

Johnston Press offered modest cause for optimism in a trading update on Wednesday over e-hatches, e-matches and e-dispatches.

Tim Bowdler, chief executive, said its internet version of births, marriages and deaths announcements was proving popular and offered “potential to drive significant revenue growth”.
