Opec is increasing its oil production ahead of the winter peak season even as the cartel still debated on Tuesday whether to back an official boost to its output limit.

The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is under pressure from consuming countries to pump more oil. Inflation in those countries is being pushed up by higher energy prices.
