Siemens poised for damages claim deals

Siemens is poised to reach its first settlements with some former top executives over claims for damages, stemming from corruption allegations that have dogged Europe’s largest engineering group.

Three former members of the management board were each prepared to pay €500,000 ($717,000) to their ex-employer, Siemens said. A settlement could be concluded in November.
