Japan’s economy grows slowly but surely

Japan’s economy continued to grow slowly but surely in the third quarter, supported by strong corporate investment and moderate growth in consumer spending.

Gross domestic product was 0.4 per cent higher in real terms in the three months to September, compared with the previous three months, according to numbers issued by the cabinet office on Friday.
