Miller chief pessimistic over return to black

The UK’s largest privately-owned housebuilder does not foresee any immediate return to profit for its housebuilding division.

Keith Miller, chief executive of Miller Group, the Edinburgh-based building, construction and property company, said that the high price of land bought at the top of the market would damage profits from home sales until it was worked through the system.
