Incentives bring down prices of new-build homes

Prices of newly built homes are likely to hit new lows as housebuilders increase sales incentives to shift stock by the end of the year.

Large developers such as Taylor Wimpey and Barratt Developments are scrambling for cash to finance debt. They will be keen to agree sales by the start of December to process payment this financial year.
