When the participants on the executive MBA programme at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School sit down to their weekend monthly classes in November and December, at least one of their number will be absent, in body at least.

But Anna Sophie Herken fully intends to be there in spirit, with a video link enabling her to view all the classes and participate in the question and answer sessions at the end of the lectures. She will be doing this from her desk in Berlin.
