Tanzanian minister quits amid BAE probe

Corruption allegations linked to the arms maker BAE Systems triggered the resignation of a Tanzanian cabinet minister on Monday, the latest victim of an ever-widening battle against graft in the east African country

Already this year the premier, two other cabinet ministers and the central bank governor have resigned or been sacked by Jakaya Kikwete, the president, over suspicions of corruption related to three separate cases.
