Short View: Credit rally

At the turn of this year, the conventional wisdom was clear: investors could expect “equity-like returns from credit”. The advice to wealthy investors from their advisers was, almost universally, to buy credit, and maybe sell equities short to do so.

This turns out to have been one of the annoying occasions when the conventional wisdom was right.
