In the old days, UK corporate treasurers used to spend their days worrying about issues such as liquidity, interest rates and the challenge of keeping on good terms with their banks.

No longer. In a telling sign of the times, the Association of Corporate Treasurers has just decided to introduce a new diploma that will give corporate treasurers a formal qualification in managing corporate pension risks - alongside all the other, more traditional, exams that they have traditionally taken to do the job.
