T Italia seeks clean break from aggressive past

Telecom Italia’s new management will this week seek to make a clean break from what it sees as an aggressive and arrogant past in efforts to revive the company’s fortunes.

Italy’s dominant telecoms operator will on Friday announce a new three-year industrial plan, the first presented by Franco Bernabè since he took over as chief executive three months ago. Mr Bernabè will present his views on how the company will grow profitably, and above all will signal a large change of attitude in the group’s home market.
