Cameron tries to shift focus from Tory expenses

David Cameron on Sunday night called for a transparent online system of expenses for MPs as he sought to deflect attention from disclosures about some of his political allies.

The Conservative leader said the public was right to be angry about politicians’ expenditure and predicted that Monday would be a “bad day” for the House of Commons and for his party.
