We have yet to hear of any security threats that target Windows 7, but Israel’s CheckPoint Software Technologies is taking no chances. It has launched a Windows 7 version of its ZoneAlarm Extreme Security software suite.

Unusually for a consumer-focused product, this latest version includes full hard drive encryption, so giving users some peace of mind if their laptop is lost or stolen.
