Stagecoach, the British bus and train company, has become one of the leading operators of sightseeing buses in New York after it created a joint venture with a rival on Wednesday.

Stagecoach, which operates hop-on, hop-off double-decker Gray Line sightseeing buses in New York, is to tie up with CitySightsNY, which also runs the Circle Line harbour cruises and Sex and the City walking tours.
