Lazard looks to future beyond Wasserstein

Nearly 3,500 miles from Wall Street, in a 13th-century church in the heart of the City of London, Ken Costa, chairman of Lazard International, on Thursday urged a throng of besuited parishioners to rebuild the public’s trust in the banking industry.

“The City’s prosperity is our prosperity,” Mr Costa said, delivering a long-planned speech on faith and the financial services sector. “The City’s pain is our pain.”
