UK business owners are ill-prepared for dealing with risks such as the public relations disasters experienced by well-known global companies, according to Grant Thornton International.

A survey carried out for the professional services group found that most British businesses were well prepared to deal with threats such as the destruction of their property, IT failures and attacks by computer hackers.
