Business travel revival helps Hogg Robinson

Hogg Robinson, the corporate travel group, reported a 46 per cent drop in first-half earnings as the recession-induced clampdown on business travel took its toll.

However, the group, one of the City’s favoured travel agents, said that it was seeing tentative signs of recovery as companies rekindled overseas face-to-face meetings, particularly in growth areas such as the Far East.
