BATM zaps doubters with profits breakthrough

The return of Batman has thrilled cinema audiences this summer and the telecoms equipment company once nicknamed after the caped crusader is having the same effect on investors.

For BATM Advanced Communications – given its monicker after the City found its full name a mouthful – the year has marked a breakthrough. The explosion in rich online video traffic has finally resulted in telecom networks clamouring for the internet switches it provides and, just as importantly, it appears to have been rehabilitated in the eyes of investors.
