Law firm has name for disputes work

Herbert Smith, the law firm representing the Tajik Aluminium Company in the dispute, is one of the top litigation shops in London, consistently chosen over its “Magic Circle” rivals for high-value cases.

The firm had a turnover of £334m ($663m) in 2007, with about 34 per cent – or £116m – of that amount coming from its disputes work, according to The Lawyer magazine.
