From his new home on the Peak, the hillside that dominates Hong Kong island, Michael Geoghegan will enjoy sweeping views across the city and its harbour and towards mainland China. It is a pleasant outlook for the chief executive of HSBC, “the world’s local bank”, who is to relocate from London by early next year.
